Teri, Hi again, I noticed you were dealing with a lack of heat in your shop and wanted to share a little tip I found that worked well enough here that no other heat is needed. I installed a small inexpensive cast iron stove (about $168.00) and burned cutoffs for heat as well as branches and other scrap. The box is enclosed and reduces the risk of dust explosion or fire. It is even safer if you spring for the triple walled stove pipe (about $50.00 a 3' section). It is expensive but worth it for the increased safety and efficiency. I heat a 1234 square foot space with the smallest unit. I hung backer board on the wall (concrete floor) and covered that with brick. A small brick job is easy enough for a novice to complete after a little reading. You can see my heater in my shop pics if you like.
