Question about deal on Craftsman lathe - 32 replies
Hey guys, I’ve been wanting to try my hand at wood turning for a while, but funds, as always, are tight. I saw an old Craftsman lathe on Craigslist here. Looks like an 80’s era thing with a tube for a bed. He only wants $25 for it which seems like a good deal and cheap way to try my hand at turning (I have ZERO experience) BUT it...

scroll saw blade clamps driving me nuts - 9 replies
I have an older Delta scroll saw that uses two little clamps with Allan head bots to hold onto the pin-less blades. No matter how tight I get them, (I’ve bent cheap wrenches and snapped good ones doing so), they refuse to hold onto the blade. Looking for ideas for a REALLY cheap table saw fence - 11 replies
I bought an old 9” Delta table saw for cheap, but it is missing the guide rails for the rip fence. I can buy a them on ebay for abotu $30-$40 after shipping, but that’s more than I paid for the saw, and to be honest the rip fence itself looks kinda cheesy anyway, lots of cast zinc, stamped steel, and too many pieces for anything to ...
