I'm a Disabled Guy who has recently (May 2014) started Turning as a way to pass my time as I'm not able to work. I have to take my time, but I get there in the end. I need, due to my Disabilities, to take frequent rests, though I find that sitting back with a Coffee & looking at the piece of wood on the Lathe, I often can see features in that wood that will determine what I make from it, as I try to keep natural grain features & do my best to capture these in the pieces I turn, often turning something I didn't intend to.
