4400 posts in 2135 days Location: Jordan Valley, Oregon I used to operate 2 businesses in my shop in Jordan Valley, Oregon; Thos. Angle Saddlery and Owyhee Design. For many years I ranched and built saddles on the side. I also built furniture as I needed it. I always wanted to see what would happen if I combined the two. That is what I was doing at Owyhee Design. I used carved leather in door panels and as inlays in mirrors and table skirts. I still built the occasional custom saddle as well as chinks and tack. I also built custom kitchens and about anything else that came along. I designed all the various things I built. The economy ended the business in 2008. In March of 2009, I moved to North Central Wyoming to work for the Padlock Ranch. I sold off all my machinery and kept only hand tools and the saddle shop.

Hello, I wanted to say I think your hand planes and projects are great. Your craftsman ship is really great. I wish I could see your work in person.
