Hi Lumberjocks.
For about 2 months i’ve been sharing a workshop with Andrius Sta, who i met thanks to lumberjocks!
We are still trying to arrange the shop, and we use eachothers tools. Which is great to share eachothers knowledge.

I bought a cheap, about 80 dollar mini tablesaw a while ago, and thought about demolishing it and putting it under a better table.
Had some boards left and decided to use them as table. I’m still thinking about laying a aluminum sheet on top, it’s still in progress.

before;

after;

only the saw under table

I used an old table clamp upside down as a lift, which works really nice. the saw rests on the moving clamp part.
to tighten and fixate the saw, there is one bolt that i extended to the side of the table.

Also made this mdf mitersaw table with extended fence

It was alot of work getting it all square, and i used some sandpaper underneath parts here and there to level everything :)

Thanks for reading!

Now that’s a very creative solution. You are very talented. I hope it works well for you and that it’s safe.

That table saw is out of control! Is that a vise you parted out for the build? This is very impressive to me.
