My father is a hobbyist woodworker and taught me how to use the scroll saw about the age of 10, and I have been doing it ever sense! My first project was a simple Christmas music box. As I got older I started to branch out and my projects became more elaborate. I am still young and learning but really enjoy the time I get when I am in my shop covered in sawdust. With a growing family and a busy job, I find it harder and harder to get in my shop to tinker on things, but I am extremely grateful for the skills that my father taught me to use my hands to turn a piece of raw material into something beautiful.
