I haven’t posted any clocks lately so I thought I would show this one that I made for my special lady for Christmas. It is quartersawn white oak with a etched hammered copper face with red paua shell cabachons. Her Name is Rose so I made the pendulum with a Dard Hunter rose design cutout with red slag glass behind. I thought it came out pretty well. She loved it and that is all that matters.

This is a new wall clock for a customer. QSWO with mortise and tenon construction and an etched hammered brass face and pendulum. Hermle Westminster mechanical movement. Measures about 19”w x 28”h x 7”d. Thanks for looking! Remarks are always welcome. Good or bad…

Several people have asked where they can get copper clock faces. I’m sorry I don’t sell them separately and I don’t know of anyone who has ready made copper dials that you can buy. Thank you in advance for your comments and for looking!

This is a new clock I just finished for a custom order. Had it already to ship then then the client decided to have the face behind a glass door. Since it has a mechenical movement you have to have access to the face to wind the clock up. hummmmm….I’ll have to post pictures of that later when i figure it out. Tiger maple with dye and tung oil finish. Clock and shelf are 29” tall. Thanks for looking!

This is my version of a G&G style clock. First time I attempted this style so I learned some things that will help me on the next batch. It is made of a curly looking QSWO with ebony pegs. Analine dyes, hand rubbed tung oil finish and polished out with black wax. Etched hammered copper face and pendulum. I put a secret compartment in the bottom. There is a button underneath that you push which pops up the false bottom. Hermle mechanical movement. Thanks for looking!

This is a new clock out of QSWO. Mortise and tenon construction. The face is etched hand hammered nickel silver and the tile is a retired Ephraim Pottery tile.

Another clock I made a couple of years ago in QSWO with blue slag glass panels. I put a light in the back. Small christmas type bulb. I took a thin piece of aluminum and put a curve in it to bounce the light towards the glass. Had a nice effect and no I don’t have a picture of it. I did at one time. If I find it I’ll post it here. New Arts & Crafts style clock with a ceramic moth tile. Made of quartersawn white oak. Etched and hammered copper face. Hermle mechanical movement. Dye finish hand rubbed with tung oil and waxed with dark brown Briwax. Thanks for looking!

A friend of mine gave me a pickup load of red oak scraps. Now I normally use QSWO for my pieces but I couldn’t turn it down, so I made some Mission style clocks out of it. Since the grain isn’t as interesting as the QSWO I stained these with an ebony finish. Gives it an antique look I think. Face and pendulum are etched nickel silver and then hand hammered. I added some Paua shell cabochons in the corners for a splash of color. Thanks for looking…
