Really nice project, good way to make a hidden door. I do have a question though, if the case is loaded with books, will the weight too much for the door hinges or frame?

Oldtool.
To answer your question I reinforced the hinge side of the door and used longer screws through the hinges,
The shelves will have a mix of things on it but I am confident the door will not sag. I hung on the outer edge for a bit and it didn’t even flex at all.

Thanks for watching.
