I have always liked working with wood since high school. Other than building two homes for my family and me to live in I didn't do any woodworking until about 6-7 years ago.
Now that I'm in my mid 60's I'm hoping to have more time to make some sawdust!
I have a 2 car garage that ejects the car and truck for projects. All my power tools are on wheels so I can tuck them all away in the evening and reinsert the vehicles!
I learn everything I've learned from reading woodworking magazines and books and am not intimidated by most projects. Except for Maloof style chairs or any type of chair for that matter.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here on LJ and improving my skills.
My passion is building furniture that people will actually use. Not much into trinket boxes and lamps etc. although I truly admire the craftsmanship required to build them.
