« Part 2: Episode #2 - Nokona Bat Factory Part 3 of Major League Woodworking - The Show series Part 4: Visiting Eli at NBSS »

Al’s video . . . Tommy fulfills a promise made to good friend Al . . . a tour of his hallowed ground and his vegetable garden in Canton, Massachusetts. Al has been Tommy’s sidekick on the show since the beginning. It should come as no surprise to know that Al is a big fan of the show and a huge Red Sox fan. This is a great chance to get some insight to Al’s world.

Tommy: I saw this the other day after I got the MLW gift. Al’s got a great shop.

Did you get an OK from major League baseball to have a logo that is so similiar to theirs.

Hi Tommy
You guys always make me smile. Fun stuff and couple of good guys. Hope your Major league woodworking business is going strong, plus buyers for your amazing furniture.

nice shop Al. you should frame that push stick… it’s memorabilia now.

if you guys are available, it would be nice to see you at the LJ picnic we’re having on Sept 20 in Lexington.

Thanks for all the work again!

I laugh everytime I see Al… He is a good sport and a knoweldgable guy. FYI, Tommy, I actually clicked on the link to the SOX….Saw were they released Smoltz and the video where one kid caught 2 foul balls, Now that’s a day that young man will remember for ever.

Tommy,
For every great woodworker there is an Ed McMan behind the scenes. :) Al is your Ed, you both crack me up! Great job on the video.

Karson, Tommy has his logo formally Trademarked and it is legal for his use in every way. So no worries on that.. Besides, MLB has a ton of lawyers.. they do a great job policing their image and brand and would have stopped it if there was any violation. :)

Loved Al’s shop tour. How did you and Al meet? Was he an influence on your interest in woodworking?

Great tour! What the heck does Al do with all those vegetables? Could this be the start of a new series?? Al’s Workshop or Fenway Furniture? :)

And it always amazes me how a fun-loving dog like that can go from “cute and playful” to “rip your face off” with just one command.
