Here’s the chair in question. The rocker that is partially detached actually is fully detached and I’m really wanting to try and save the painting even though it’s not the best. My mom said she doesn’t care if it’s there but I think she would really like it if it was still there when I got done.

Doesn’t look to be to bad off , a lot of joints to take apart and re-glue and some clamping and it should be close to new unless there is something going on I can’t see in the photos.
Some careful cleaning of the painting and then a coat of clear lacquer should preserve it .
