no previous part Part 1 of LCD Mount series no next part

I have been wanting to build a custom monitor stand to hold my three LCD monitors for some time now. The one thing that has been holding me up was how expensive the mounts are in the stores. I can’t justify paying $30 to $50 for a single mount at the retail stores. Well I finally found some online and they are very strong and well built. I ordered them late last week and they arrived today so I threw together a few pieces of wood and built my stand (I have yet to take any pictures because I was so excited once I got everything together that it was everything I could do just to take a break for dinner). Anyway, the mounts were ordered from and I got them for about $11 a piece. While I was there I also picked up some other items because the prices are so incredibly low. If you are looking for LCD wall mounts, custom face plates for all sorts of audio/video needs, keystone jacks… etc. then look here. All items are a fraction of what you pay in the retail stores.

Here is the mount that I purchased in case anyone is looking for a good one:

Monoprice is great. I always end up buying more than I need!

I’d love to see some pics of these stands
