My workshop is a one car garage mostly dedicated to woodworking. I have a 12” surface planer, 6” jointer, medium sized drill press, small belt & disc sander, router table, portable table saw, table top band saw, 12” miter saw, Harbor Freight lathe, and scrolling saw. Everything is on wheeled carts. Most of my tools are Craftsman. It’s crowded. Nearly every tool must be set up and have vacuum hose attached to use it. So it helps to plan ahead.

Throw in some pics sometime – I too have shop set up in a 1 car garage – always nice to see what cleverness in storage or layout allows us to manage in a relatively small space.
