I've had an on and off interest in woodworking for a long time but did not have the time, space, or money until the past 5 years or so. Trying to be perfect was also a problem. Now I just do what I can do and I'm really starting to enjoy it. I have a one car garage shop and everything is on wheels. My tools are not high end but suitable for my skill level right now.

This desk belonged to my great grandmother. The wooden board laying on the writing area does not belong to it. But the center board below it pulls out to make a writing surface. The style looks old but it has gotten me to thinking about making ...
This saw belonged to my father and possibly his father who was a full-time carpenter. It dates back to at least WW2. My father worked with his father for a while after the war, before going to college. The handle seems to be hand made or els...
