I’ve been making some major changes- in fact I’ve changed it around several times and still think I could make it better… Anyway, here’s the “in progress” photos. Still to come are a spray booth, another bench (traditional woodworking bench) and some other misc things. Then I’ll tear it all apart and change it around again I’m sure…

Jim, I have to chime in as well on the pictures. Tours of other shops are always welcome.

Super shop. What was your selection for “a remote and blast gates”? Are the gates controlled by a remote control?

Chuck- no, I meant that the dust collector is controlled by the remote. I’ve seen remote controlled blast gates, but don’t have them.

I sure do love your shop, Stumpy. It’s a really interesting looking shop.

Thanks Helluva- like everyone’s shop, it’s a work in progress. Seems like I spend more time on the shop than on making projects with those tools. I’ve made a lot of changes in the last weeks since those “updated” photos were taken!

Well, Stumpy, if you’re still changing it every so often why don’t you make a blog out of it. It would be interesting. I love the look and feel of your shop. I use mine much like a lot of people use a den – especially in the winter time. In warm weather I like to sit out on the patio next to my shop in my spare time but in the winter I like to sit in my shop. Yours has a much more comfortable atmosphere than mine does. It’s very cozy looking and colorful too. I can tell that you love your shop and that you are proud of it – and you should be.

Ever finish that bandsaw?
Looks like you are working on two of them.

I hope to get mine done this winter.
Changing jobs put a real kink in my plans this last spring.
