Wood lathe build

My mentor just donated to me a Craftsman professional lathe head. Now I am in the process of building the rest of it, like a bed, tool holder, and something for a tail stock. I’ve been scanning the web for ideas on a tail stock and I have done an Autocad dwg. of one using allthread machined to a point. I don’t know how well it would work as a dead center. Rather have a live center.

So if anyone has experience, advise or plans for such a project, I would apprieciate all the help I can get.

I posted a new picture of the lathe on my workshop.
