Steve, nice project. In the end the paint actually looks really good as it matches your jetsons clock.

Always love your videos. Fun to watch and I learn something too.

Boooo Polyshades. When I saw the can in your hand, I cringed. Great project and video.

Nice recovery with the paint Steve. Good for you for showing your oops moment too. Shows that we are all just mere mortals. Thank you for sharing your work.

Haven’t had much luck with that poly-stain either Steve. My wife can make it look good with 3 coats. But I haven’t got that kind of patience. :)

Steve,
Your videos are great! Sort of reminds me of when I watched a Fine Woodworking video on building a workbench. The video was 1 hr long so I figured I could do it in about a day… 3 days later, I was still at it.
Your 7 minutes probably translates into days for me!
Love the concept, love the fact that it is contemporary… hate the paint (I’m a natural kinda girl!).
I do understand that you had to paint it, however.

Beautiful project. It’s always nice to watch your videos because you always put slice of humor in it. Also presentation is always simple, for us non profesional woodworkers easy to understand.

Thanks Steve for including the “process Adjustments” you made along the way, like adjusting for the edgebanding.

Also I saw the polyshades can…. and was wondering what your verdict was going to be.

Thanks – it is a neat project, I can see my 12 year old daughter wanting one… except she loves Lime Green for the color!
