This is a shabby-chic outdoor side table made using limited tools. Anyone with basic skills and a few tools can build this project in a weekend. I made mine using free pallets I found on Craigslist. I’ve also shown a simple method for taking pallets apart.

Love your reclaimed man side table.

Not sure I have ever liked the term “shabby-chic” for anything…............................

That’s cool! I use pallets all the time too for bird houses, and other projects. Can’t wait till the April fools video on Monday!

Nice… COOL… Simple… Project!

COOL way to handle pallets! ... sure beats the way I’ve been doing it! LOL

I’m curious though…
You protected the thing against water…
Then, you used a good BOOK to get the water from your glass instead of the table getting it… YES? LOL

Thank you!

Looks good. Make two and double the length of a third and now you have two end table and a coffee table. I like the look. For a kind of a cabin look

Steve, your videos always bring a smile to my face. Good lessons to learn inside this video. Thank you for sharing.

I have a stack of pallets that i was going to have someone haul away. Maybe before I do I’ll see if I can’t use your method for salvaging the wood and see if I can get some decent pieces. Then I can try and make one of these tables.
Thanks for sharing!
