Thank you for watching the Woodworking for Mere Mortals show this year.
In this final episode of the year, I’ll crack open the time capsule from last year’s episode and talk about some of the highlights of 2012.

I have watched every one. Even the live one.
I do remember thinking “What was that?”
Keep on keeping on Steve.

Hi Steve. I have to admit that when I saw your first videos l found them more irritating than entertaining, although I was surprised to find an even worse woodworker than myself. But like a true woodworking enthusiast you have persisted, gained a lot of new skills and become a much better woodworker.
Your video making has also improved to the point where your videos are now much more entertaining and informative. I realize that the whole idea of your show is not to frame yourself as an expert, but rather to bring the thrill of woodworking to others struggling to learn the ins and outs. In that you have succeeded way beyond my expectations and your efforts are now appreciated by so many who follow your videos.
Your sticking with this and showing steady improvement is a shining example, especially for folks who may lack enough self-confidence to take up woodworking and also for those just trying to learn more. I expect this venture of yours will just continue to get better and better.
I hope this doesn’t sound too pompous but I think you deserve a lot of credit for taking so much time and energy to bring a little joy into our lives. Thanks for that and I hope you and your loved ones have a great New Year.

Did you get a new video camera? You looked a little more HD-ish for some reason.
