Wow, Steve! What a great story. Congratulations on your new saw! It is so good to hear how woodworkers are here for each other. In these times when there is so much sadness and negative things going on, it is heartwarming to hear of acts of kindness and respect like this. You certainly deserve it, Steve. You give so much to this community and make us smile and that as they say is PRICELESS! Enjoy your saw! I am looking forward to some more awesome projects! :)

Steve—I think the new saw was just one way of a group of woodworkers saying thanks … they must relish the videos you post as much as I do. I learn something from just about every one and really appreciate your sense of humor!

Great story Steve your a good guy and deserve some good coming your way ,ENJOY. Did your saw come with a dado insert? Porter cable service net has it. item number 178 part number 5140097-89. Just an fyi the HT-1 Leecraft Zero-Clearance Table Saw Insert will fit your saw. http://www.leecraftzeroclearance.com/ If I had been in “the circle” I would have kicked in too.

Thanks for the videos. Keep going. And have fun with that saw! (see my 1-page blog on making a simple but accurate crosscut sled)

That’s a really amazing thing. Laney must be one hell of a guy! You deserve it, you share a lot with all of us and if I had been in “the circle” I would have kicked in too. I was in the same boat with a little table saw and just got a new(to me) Delta contractors yesterday. It’s a great feeling to use something that you don’t have to fight with every step of the way. Congrats!

Steve,

That is great! It makes me feel so good to know that there are people out there that do good things for people in this world! You can really tell that you were holding your feelings back, it brought a tear to my eye! You are a true human being who cares as well as those who sent you the saw! I wish I would have been a part of that circle also!

I am looking forward to seeing you use that saw and watching you make good use of it! You deserve it! You must spend as much time editing video for us to watch as you do working on wood projects. You share so much with us! Thank you for all you do Steve!
