That was a very nice gift from some brave souls. Great to see you have a big heart and took the time to make a display case in their honor.

Keep up the good work, John

Great video Steve. There was probably no need for a note in the package because they knew that you already knew what to do. What a great honor and a great looking display case.

Thank you for a wonderful blog post. It really got me thinking about my Navy days, and how much I truly miss them. I thought about the days before 9/11, and the days after. I appreciate seeing a service member in uniform and the pride that lies beneath. I know the courage that it takes to make a commitment to your country and the sacrifices that your family must make to support your commitment. But one of the things that can absolutely change your day is when a random stranger approaches you at the gas station as says “Thank you” and shakes your hand – it is memorable (yes that happened to me about 6 years ago). Same thing goes for a relatively simple box with a lot of heart poured into it, you have no idea how much it matters. Once again, thank you Steve. One thing though – gotta see more submarine stuff!
