This maze will drive people nuts! I built this project based on a plan in a book called Zany Wooden Toys That Whiz, Spin, Pop, and Fly. I was thrilled when the author, Bob Glisdorf granted me permission to make a video using one of his designs. Check out the book. It’s really cool.

Read more about this project and Bob's book here.

nicely done. even with the plan, I suspect I’d have just as much trouble getting the dime through… my little one however, solved your cube puzzle in under a minute, and needs more of a challenge. Thanks!

Even before watching the video I’ve ordered the book.

And ouch: I’m impressed with the strength of that drill bit…

Steve, I couldn’t help but notice, as I watched the SNL “Behind the scenes” episode that aired last weekend, how much you and Steve Martin seem like peas in a pod.. What cracks me up is your screen name is one letter off from his name.

So my question is.. is this intentional and I just haven’t picked up on this yet?

From what I can tell, it looks like you have about 50 cents locked up in that toy! Maybe if you keep shoving dimes in, one will eventually come out ;) Another great video and a fun project.
