Ordered the Steel City 11/2hp 65200 dust collector today. Got a good deal at ToolKing. $100 rebate and free shipping. Final price $299. Now the wait for delivery. It’s like Christmas all over again. :)

Steve, I don’t blame you for being excited. Adding new tools always seems to get the adrenaline flow going. Dust collectors are not as flashy as a table saw for instance but, nonetheless, are just as important a tool to have in our shops as anything else. You chose a nice dust collector as well.

How about doing a review of it when you get it running?

Scott,
Review will follow. I’ll probably add a Wynn canister to it once I see how well it performs. I will probably have a review of the Ridgid TS2410LS saw as well. I’m about 1/2 way through getting my workshop together as well as finishing my home renovations. So, I’ll have pleny of pics and postings in the weeks ahead. I wonder what the length of time is from ordering and delivery with ToolKing?

My canister should be in next Tuesday, so I’ll be doing the retrofit also on my Grizzly DC. I found a sweet deal on a used one and jumped at the chance. :D

Well it seems the Steel City DC is backordered until mid or end of March. ToolKing called this morning to let me know and see what I wanted to do. I talked to Tracy and got a deal going. I’m now receiving the Delta 50-760 DC for a slight increase. I must say that ToolKing was most helpful and accommodating. I was particularly impressed that they called to let me know the status on the order. Tracy and her manager were very nice to talk to and saved the sale in the process. By the way, the free shipping is a plus and my order ships tomorrow. So kudo’s to Toolking and it’s employees. My Delta compressor will now have some company. I am a very satisfied customer. Rockler and Toolking are 2 of the best for taking care of their customers.

Delta DC arrived today. Package was in perfect condition via UPS. All contents intact and spotless. Assembly was about half an hour by myself. Unit works like a charm. I was surprised at the sound levels. I expected it to be louder. Power is great compared to my shop vac. I still need some fittings to use it with my table saw but it sucked up everything from my 4121 Ridgid miter saw. I love this unit so far. My wife wants me to use it in the house which made me laugh. Next week it will get a workout as I start the island project. Kudos to ToolKing for the outstanding service and quickness of delivery. 5 star rating for their company.

Have your say...
