My shop is 24×32. It’s a simple pole barn that is relatively old, it used to be a stable in the 60’s. I’m getting ready this summer to do some minor repairs on it, and maybe give it a fresh paint job on the exterior. I’ve got a planer, jointer, tablesaw, couple routers, scroll saw, miter saw, and some misc handtools. I just bought a Rikon 14 inch bandsaw. I’m trying to get organized, which is extremely difficult when you’ve never had a system before. Right now, everything is in it’s place, it’s just not very efficient or organized.

I’m a hardware junkie, and I probably have too much of it. (Must be my Grandfather in me.) So, I’m building a cabinet that will hold all my nuts, bolts, and misc hardware. The containers inside it are going to be 1/4 inch pine with hardboard bottoms and finger joints. I’m going to start putting everything on a cleating system which will make everything modular. So, my nuts and bolts / hardware containers, tool boxes, and other organizers or containers will be able to attach to an assembly cart for a little more efficiency. It’s taking me a long time to get things running, but I am only able to work a little here or there on it. I’ll keep pics posted of the progress.

Hey Steve, I was just having a look around and saw you are just a little north of Mt. Vernon. I got stuck there in the blizzard of 2000.
