My shop is currently a 2-1/2 car garage. It was built as a garage, but, has never seen a car in it!
Because most of my projects are on wheels, I use one bay for assembly, welding frames, or finishing.
The rest of my shop is a bit crowded! I build with very large plywood panels. I fabricate these on a 7’-by-14’ workbench. This occupies almost all of the available floor space in the “machine area”.
I recently built some basic storage under the work bench.
I have an old Sears 10” table saw with a router table wing, a Delta 10”Mitersaw, Grizzly 14” bandsaw, and a 180-amp Hobart MIG Welder. I have a Delta 1-HP Dust collector. I use five routers, three Porter Cable units, a Ryobi laminate trimmer, and an old Craftsman unit. The 3-1/4 HP Porter-Cable is mounted to the router table.
Many cordless drills all over the shop. Since I design in plywood, my selection of router bits is mosty spiral cutters and guide-bushed bits.
I’m currently adding on to the shop. The new area will be storage for completed projects and patterns, and a new assembly area. The old assembly area will become a larger machine room.
Space to move my 8’ by 24” home-built lathe out of the cellar! LOL!
I will get some pictures of the shop, if I ever get it cleaned up!
Added some shots of a workbench remodel. I removed the mess, added a cabinet on one side, drawers on the other.
