I never set out to be a wood worker, but I purchased a Craftsman table saw about 30 years ago and have slowly been developing skills and adding other machines over the years. My wife and I plan to retire in a couple of years and hopefully I'll be able to set up a nice shop after we move. Maybe then I'll be able to make a lot of the things that I've been dreaming about for a long time. I have a long list. I've lurked on the Lumber jocks before, but lately I've gotten so much useful information I felt like I should join in. I'm especially grateful right now for the tool reviews. I've finally replaced the plastic crank handles on my TS with cast iron handles from Grizzly based on a really good review. I'll try and post a pic of the TS with the new cranks. Anyway, thanks to all of you who have posted your projects and reviews - you're a tremendous benefit to novices like me.

Thank you all; its really a great site. I’ve profited already by the reviews. I found a review for crank handles for my 1983 era Craftsman TS. One of the original plastic cranks broke years ago and I never replaced it. Found a review on LumberJocks for cast iron cranks from Grizzly for a good price. And the reviewer had a Craftsman saw also. My next upgrade will be a better fence for the TS. Thanks again.
