Judie Squires of LJ suggested that I search the LJ membership for talent to create an ad for my BowlSaw which will run in LJ. She suggested I offer a free BowlSaw to anyone who would be willing to take the job of designing such an ad. I also would like them to take the tool and video the process of coring a bowl blank to make two bowls. The BowlSaw wouldn’t cover the fees, but I would certainly be willing to pay an additional retainer for this video which could be used on my website. And, I would be very happy to compensate anyone who can “tweak” my website bowlsaw.com to get more action there. Are there any takers? Dick (bowlsaw.com)

I’m willing to help with the video production as I’ve done that kind of work in the past, but I’m not a turner, and well – can’t really ‘use’ the BowlSaw :)... wouldn’t mind working with someone who can turn… maybe ryno101?

Dick, I can’t help with your requests, but I wanted to say I used the BowlSaw at my dad’s shop and it worked very well! I hope you find the help you need and your business really takes off fast.

I wish I could help, I don’t have a good high def camera and you need to make sure that is what is used.
The person turning should not be doing the video recording. There should be someone operating the camera separate from the person turning to get the best footage.
It is great to see that you realize the potential of good marketing through a good website. The video should be posted on all the video sites that you can and at all of the wood working communities as well.
