While searching for a product to seal and finish my segmented bowls, I accidentally discovered Howard’s Feed-N-Wax at my local Ace Hardware. What a great product! This replaced a concoction of beeswax and mineral oil that I previously used. It saves the preparation trouble and is affordable—$10.95 for 16 oz. And it lasts a long time. I applied it to bowls that I had freshly made and WOW! I was amazed. It works better than the expensive wax preparations I got previously from the woodworking catalogs. And it gives the natural feel I desire, protects the surface from food and can be re-applied at leisure. All I can say is—”Try it—you’ll like it!”
