I Can't Keep Up!

I can’t wait until I get moved to Northern California. Not because I am particularly anxious to get out of Southern California (however the heat is a little much this time of year) I just want to STOP DRIVING AROUND!!!

Every time I sit down to rummage through Lumberjocks I find my email bin filled to overflowing. After driving to and from Nor Cal I just don’t have time to sort through it all. I hope you all aren’t too offended that I’m not giving your projects the attention they deserve and please know I appreciate all the kind words your throw my way. My shop is what usually gives me peace but I don’t think I will be in it too much for the next month or so.

Frank, if you’re reading this…I’m sad my life has become so busy lately that I can’t even focus on your beautiful words. I’m anxious to get back to them and the rest of you “jocks”.

Keep creating sawdust everyone!

Don’t worry Steffen. Everybody gets busy. Summer is a crazy time.

Steffen, I hope that the move comes soon, so you can have more time to relax and enjoy some stress free time. I drive around 100 miles going to work and returning home seven days out of fourteen and work twelve hours, so I know something about the stress of being on the road more than one wants to. Thanks for caring about your fellow LumberJocks feelings enough to post this so that they know that you care, but are just so busy.

Get your life in order, so you can settle down and enjoy it. Take a deep breath and relax.

Now get back to work.

I spent a long time just driving around the bay area (truck driver). Hope you are moving out in the country. Just some beautiful land in the north country.

It will come Steffen. Get settled in and we’ll be here when you have time.

I lived in Milpitas before it was part of Silicon Valley. I used to love taking cruises through the hills on my motorcycle. Beautiful country back then…..I hope some of it survived becoming McMansions.

Steffen -

I agree with your comments on Frank’s words. This is a very hard site to keep up with – it is incredible what happens when you have to step away for a doy or so. I always feel the same as what you describe – a bit guilty that I fell behind commenting on all the great projects, blogs and comments. I have just recently realized that I can’t keep up so I will do my best when I can.

I used to live south of the Bay Area in Santa Cruz county. It is fun to visit and I miss it a lot but don’t miss the traffic!

Hi Steffen;
—-well the words will still be there//here….when you get around to readying them, so take your time and all the rest that’s in front of you will follow! Have patience….and patience will travel with you, while perseverance plays it’s part in getting us there and as I all-ways say….this that I do, ’just is’.

I mean look at me, I’m three days late in getting around to reading your blog….

Thank you Steffen, for your wonder-full words!

Thanks Frank, you made me laugh. I’ve actually snuck a few reads in here and there…
