I have a metal building. It has a concrete floor. Not expensive but, I don’t have to share with my husband. He has a car garage with a small addition.
When we moved to NC one truck load was my garage of tools and our basement. I had to put everything in storage until we found a place to live. We stayed with our daughter and her family. We moved into her house in October, bought our new place in December. I was glad for my own place. :)
The new building did not go up until May. There were lots of trees that needed to go. It was a long process.

The building is 24×30 and has a double roll up door, three windows and a man door.

Berta, you have a nice shop. It is well organized and you have plenty of space in which to work. I really could not make out what is on the wall behind the disc sander. I see a straight edge clamp and a level but what are the rest of the items….. yard sticks?

Having three windows lets a lot of natural light in there and, even though you had to wait for it, getting a shop of this caliber was well worth it.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed the visit.

Yes, yard sticks. I like yard sticks, I even have tupperware yard sticks that fold up! I was waiting for someone to mention all the pink. Thanks for the comment.

I noticed that pink does seem to be the predominant color theme in your shop and something pink appears in nearly all your photos but, after 32 years, my wife has trained me well enough so that I consciously avoid making sexist comments (besides I get yelled at if I do) . :)

Very wise. My husband even bought me a pink tool belt! I do try to keep it from going over the top.

Nice shop. It looks a little too looks clean and organized. I like the lumber racks (being full makes me jealous too)... I must share your affinity for old yardsticks. I have more than my share as well.
