I am doing some tuning on the table saw. It is a 10” Jet Hybrid. I am using a digital caliper. To the best if my knowledge the blade is square with the table slots. I have tweaked the fence and the best I can get is 1/64” parallel with the blade. I measured some boards that I ripped to 3” and they were within 1/64” end to end. ...

The other day I was re-sawing some un-dryed red oak. I get the stuff from a mill down the road for next to nothing. I usually cut to rough demensions and let dry in the attic for a few month. I left a board face down on the saw for about 5 minutes. Now there is a dark brown stain. No rust, just a dark stain. I keep the top well treated...
