SandDevil sanding block - 3 replies

What Size Dado Blade 6" or 8" - 15 replies

I’m recently retired and now upgrading most everything I’ve purchased over the past 30+ years. I’m now thinking of a new dado blade. I’ve kinda decided on the Freud SD506 or the SD508. The difference being 6” or 8”. So, my question is why spent the extra money for an 8” blade over a 6” blade? ...
