Ok, I am from New Orleans and we do not have anything like a Woodcraft store in my entire state. My wife and I were on vacation in San Antonio this week and just a couple of miles outside the city was a Woodcraft store. We had some time to kill one morning and headed over there. Now, I am pretty new to wood working and very much an amateur, but when I walked in that place I wanted to kiss the floor. I get the Woodcraft catalogue every month, but being there in person is just so much better. After the first 45 minutes of looking at and touching every single item that I passed, my wife found a seat and commented to the salesman that I was like a giddy little kid. She was right. But she never complained, and actually encouraged to buy a few things. she was a trooper. Then I found the wood room. This place is simply amazing to walk into. I would have bought so many things to bring back home, but unfortunately everything I wanted, TSA would have an issue with, so I just bought a Wixey digital angle cube. I think our family vacations from now on will be planned around Woodcraft locations.
