Congrats!! That is really exciting. I’d like to open up a store when I retire.

I found an excellent book on Amazon. Has to do with marketing a wood business. Different from running one. LOL Location is everything! Contacts are very important. To get your pieces out there you might have to pull in some favors? Just being on the internet doesn’t mean success. But it is necessary.

Being patient is also difficult. Hope your products are popular.

Good Luck,

I picked the time for the housing market and discretionary capitol to take the big dive to make furniture. Definit fantasy. Learned a lot. Using it on my primary career. Now just being an amature. LOl

I want to thank everyone for the kind words and advice! :-) I did not realize all the paperwork that is involved in opening a business! My daughter Briana has moved in with me until I can get on my feet and hire some employees. Please don’t think that I have abandoned this website, but by the time nightfall arrives, I am very tired! I will check in as I find the time! please keep the good thoughts flowing my way! :-)

Look forward to seeing the site. I hope all goes well with you. My former Partor, retired, runs Tomorrow Antiques Today in Elijay. You may want to visit his store. His shop is there, also. His name is Ray Johnson.
