As I recall, lo these many years ago, I believe that thang is a two-man crosscut saw set. I’ve got the crosscut saw that my granddad and I used back in the fifties, but it’s hangin’ on the wall and I don’t intend to EVER sharpen it again. At least as long as I can crank up my Stihl.

I supposed it could be for a larger two-man variety, but it’s really designed to joint the teeth of a panel saw.

Glad you enjoy your Stihl. I can’t get the bloody things to start; my Disstons always do.

I HAVE ONE. I USE IT ON CARD SCRAPERS. VERY EFFECTIVE. 8 BUCKS IS A BARGAIN!

Cab, it does work for that! And very well, too. I do that myself (my card scrapers are an old saw blade, btw…)
