Well I just received my new apron at the guild picnic from LJ Rosepedal27,( Thanks Pattie ! ) This was the second half of the swap for the yarn bowl (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/242658 ) I made for her.

It is real nice and I can slip in and out of it with no ties and it hangs on my shoulder instead of around my neck.
Lots of nice pockets and I use it every day now.
Here are some shot of it:

Cheers, Jim

Thanks again , Pattie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like a very nice soft leather… GREAT!

Great looking apron Jim, I like that it hangs from the shoulders. Mine hangs from my neck and it can get uncomfortable if I don’t give it enough slack before tying around the waist.

Great design—I really like the shoulder suspension and loads of pockets.

By Gee!!!! That’s a first class apron Jim….Very practical the way it fits without tying. Plenty of pockets too.

Cliff.

Thank you all for the nice comments. Glad you like the apron. I love it and use it every day. It is made from Spanish upholstery leather and Pattie sews a whole lot straighter than I’ll ever do…plus she researched the nice feature of the shoulder mount and added in it.

Hi Bob and Joe, So far it has does not feel hot… probably because it is not strapped tight. If it does, I can wear it hospital gown style!! LOL

Well I just noticed I did not smile in that top photo so I took another today .

Cheers, Jim
