Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I spent many years in the mainland, going from Texas to Kansas to Florida to Alabama and back to Florida. In 2003 I got my dream to go back home to the Island, but it was not to be. Things did not work out and I had to return to Florida, working in environmental labs, which has been my life's work. Got recruited by the wrong people, and have been unemployed for a while. Decided that the time is good to return home and open a woodshop there.

I picked up woodworking many years ago while I was in school at Texas A&M, built several pieces, but when I moved on, I did not have the funds to build my own workshop. So, for many years, I did what I could with a circular saw and other tools, until my return to Florida. I have been accumulating tools and can say I have a functional though disorganized shop.

I am a surfer, and being a surfer is like being in the Mafia... you can never leave it. I am also a guitar player.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hey Slacker,

Thanks for the compliment…If your interested, I’m sure you could get carving some cool stuff. I’ve only been in it for 4 years, and I had never picked up a chainsaw before I started carving…add me as a buddy, I’ll keep you posted when my how to carve site launches…
