Playing Card Box No.2
The finishing of my first card box took a slightly different direction than I was expecting.. not a ‘write off’ but not what I wanted.So I think I’m ready to make one with my ‘good wood’. I picked out a log from some fire wood on a recent camp outing.Lodgepole Pine I used a buck saw to remove most of the loose bark.. .. Attached a guide board Made two passes on the table saw Hand cut the center board cut from one of the log halfs Flattening the board..
