Wood is my favorite medium to work in, though I often do other things. Leather, metal, knotwork, stone, clay, whatever suits the project. Like doing things by hand the old laborious way too, though I have power tools I use them for prep mostly. I like things and stuff.

Hello Skarp,

Let me welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find being a member of this group to be both a rewarding and an inspirational part of your woodworking adventure.

Jack Burton is probably the most underrated hero ever.

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol’ Jack Burton always says at a time like that: “Have ya paid your dues, Jack?” “Yessir, the check is in the mail.”
