Bandsaw #2: Preparing the Frame
I don’t usually pray for wood, but with finances tight and a penchant for “up-cycling”, I mentioned it to the Ol’ Boy. A few days later the bread shop down the street pulled out a bunch of 2×4” and wooden shelving from their warehouse. The manager let me haul it all away. The shelving is 3/4” softwood that was screwed together. The total amount of good wood is just the amount needed for the entire frame. I also hauled away the 2×4s and 3/4” plywood needed for the bandsaw stand and wheels. Oak and maple pallets completed the deal and should work for some of the other pieces. Thanks Man.
