I follow Darbin Orvar on Youtube and built the stool that she featured last year. i even tried something new to me, distressing a painted finish. I used the leftovers of the Teal Green bench that I made previously, and top coated it with leftover color from a kitchen project. I sanded some “worn” places on some of the edges for a used appearance. We were invited to the second birthday of a friend’s child and did not know what to give her. it came to me in a flash! The stool. The child took one look at it and put it on the floor and sat on it with a big smile.
