For a while over the winter, it seemed like I was doomed to building bluebird houses forever. All of the ones that I made were copies of one in our back yard that has a proven track record. Last year it housed bluebirds through three cycles of eggs and babies. The entrance hole is not the correct size according to all that I read online, but I guess these Texas bluebirds have not been online looking at houses. Some of these photos are of my wife’s houses, her daughters, and a young friend that I try to mentor whenever the opportunity arises.
