Hi all -

I am looking for some help / advice for my Pinnacle Precision Router Lift V2 with PC router installed.

I have had it for a couple of years and am very satisfied with it.

When setting up my shop when we moved into our new home, I found the micrometer dial and the central post for it now stand proud of the surface of the lift plate by about 1/16” – see photo.

This makes the lift unusable since the dial will interfere with wood sliding over the lift plate.

Mild pressure will not push it down, nor does rotating the microadjust thumbwheel. I don’t want to force anything.

The dial does turn normally when I use the thumbwheel.

The lift operates normally in all other ways.

I have no problem with my ability to disassemble anything and put it back together right, but before I get into it, has anyone had any experience with this?

Either detrius under the dial, or has been topped/bottomed out with force. (spun on the shaft)
