Love the hobby. I can never have too much wood. I mill some of my own lumber including oak, maple, and walnut using a homemade chainsaw mill. Turning makes up a large portion of my time in the shop. Gotta say my fovorite domestic wood for just about any project is walnut ----- expecially when its quarter sawn ;-)

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
