Currently I’m using the 2nd stale of garage (10’ x 20’), which sometimes houses my truck during the cold winters in Iowa. This is not an ideal set-up for me, but its will work until we can starting building our new house and outbuilding sometime in early 2015. Keep in mind that I’m 27yr old that is fairly new to this hobby and gained a appreciation for woodworking through my father when I was a youngster A little over a year ago I started to get serious about woodworking and purchased tools as the projects I was working on required them. I figure this is prefect time to start writing about my workshop because it will be going through some changes over the next year and everyone will be able to see the progress (I’ll start a blog series at some point). I currently lack good organization and workflow in my work space, so my goal during the winter months is to build a 6’-8’ wall of base cabinets and wall cabinets with top (like a kitchen is generally set up). I’m currently researching how to make good base and wall cabinets for the workshop so its going to be a fun learning experience. I have a quick workbench I made that is about 8’ long (the problem with is is mobility and depth of projects). I have been looking at new workbench designs too, I want something that has bulk to it, but still mobile and has different variation for holding projects.
The tools I have:

Jointer: 6” Delta DJ-15
Planer: 13” Delta Portable Model: 22-590
Table Saw: Powermatic (PM2000) 3hp with 30” fence

Drill: Delta 12” bench top
Router: 2.25HP Porter Cable w/ Fixed base and plunge Model: 893PK
Router Table: None – Looking at a Kreg or maybe something integrated into my table saw
Biscuit Jointer: Porter Cable Model: 557
Pocket Hole Jig: Kreg Master Set
Sanders: Dewalt Palm sander , Hitachi 5” ROS
Drill portable: Milwaukee 18v Lithuim Ion Drill and Impact Drive Model: 2691-22
Bandsaw: None – looking at Grizzly 16”
Air Compressor: Husky 33 Gallon 1.7HP
Tool Box: Snap-on w/ misc tools

Looks like a good start on a great shop!
