Part 1: GREAT TIME

BILL SUGGESTED THAT I BLOG MY EXPERIENCE AT THE WOODWORKING SHOW THIS PAST WEEKEND. SO HERE IT GOES. I WENT FOR ALL THREE DAYS. I HAD PLANNED OUT ALL THE SEMINARS I WANTED TO SEE, BUT THAT WENT OUT THE WINDOW ON ARRIVAL. TOO MUCH TO SEE TO LITTLE TIME. WE ENDED UP WATCHING ALL OF THE JIM HEAVY CLASSES. HE IS VERY INFORMATIVE AND FUNNY. SORT OF FRANTIC, FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN HIM BEFORE, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. I ENJOYED HOW MUCH STUFF THERE WAS AND THEY HAD REASONABLE DEALS. SOME REALLY GOOD D...

Back to the Jim Heavy classes. He was fantastic and his main objective was to give us more confidence to try new things and harder projects. He gave a great speech about not discounting your work as soon as you give it to someone. As fellow woodworkers, you know what I mean “Well, that didn’t turn out just like I wanted it to, there is a problem on this part here…” Just give the item and say thank you when they say they like it.
