I have been slowly buying tools over the past 3 years, picking up one or two pieces here and there anytime I can spare the extra cash. But lately I have been focused on rebuilding workbench’s and getting everything organized and set up to a point I am happy with. Slowly but surely everything’s coming together!

These photo’s where taken from July – September 2012. Since then my whole shop has been changing rapidly, as I improve all my workbenches and work areas.

Great shop! Very well organized and tidy! However, I am very jealous of where the shop is located! That’s gotta be one of the more beautiful places on earth.

Welcome to LJs!

(Broke ground today!!) 09/23/2012

- expanding my shop is costing me a bit more than I originally thought it would. So far I am at about $850. in building materials. Oh well it’s a much need expansion. :)

my current shop. (Before)

Got the new floor put in today. Can’t wait until I have that little bit of extra room to utilize in my shope :) (10X14’ expansion)

MY shop expansion has turned into a much bigger project then I figured!
I decided to rebuild the whole roof and adjust the pitch while I was at it!

Congradulations on your new shop extension. I remember when I started woodworking in my house, it was in my basement. When the time came and I was building bigger projects, I had to move out of the basement and build a shop above ground. I promise you, that no matter how big the shop is, there will be days when you wish it could be bigger. My shop is here on Martha’s Vineyard Island in Ma. It’s always open to all friendly tours. Please stop by if you’re in the area and we’ll talk wood.

I Love the arrows on your router table. It’s one of those things that you take for granted, but it never hurts to have an obvious reminder to keep from doing something stupid.

after really looking at your roof, im wondering about snow load, dont you get plenty of snow, i would think you would want 2×10’s and a good pitch to be safe against a heavy snow load, ive seen them buckle and crash in…so i hope yours is beefed up enough.
