I have a very modest garage and minimal amount of tools. But sometimes it’s not the amount of tools you have but the way you use them. So with that said I am definately learing how to use them…...

I have a contractor saw, chop saw, router with table, planer, drill press, and hand tools. What is my favorite tool, well I guess it would have to be my card scraper. You can really get the wood smooth with it.

I have been woodworking and building things for my friends a no charge. My cost to them is just the experience I get from the build. I can’t wait to get into dovetailing.

I am doing this for about 18 months and entirely self taught. My mornings are spent with coffee in hand watching and reading blogs.

Reminds me of my garage shop, except you have a lot of room.

You have a nice looking shop in which to work. And you have some nice tools to work with as well. Nice upgrades on your tablesaw by the way.

What about your shop flooring. I assume that it is vinyl.

I like the sawdust on the floor as well. This shows that there is some work going on in there.

Thanks for the post.

I think I like that workbench. I’ve been wanting to build one with troughs like yours has. Got any more pics?

Looks just like mine would if my wife would only park her car outside!
