70 posts in 1924 days Location: Little Creek VA Hello everyone, My name is Billy Strong, I have been woodworking for over 2 years now and slowly building my shop. I am currently in the US Navy and have been for over 20 years now. I really have no intentions of retiring just yet as I am honored to serve this great Nation. I do envy all the woodworkers out there and their talents as I grow each day in the shop from my mistakes and reading about others. Hey Chief,
Looks like some “fish” over your left pocket in the photo. I was a pig boat sailor on USS Odax (SS484), ‘68-’72. We’ve always got room for one more bubblehead. Don’t get too settled-in, though. You’ve got the next watch!

Welcome aboard there sailor! Tis a good site that you have found, I’ve sure enjoyed the straight and narrow line of woodworking and no deviation into off the wall subjects. Might try as a starter in making “Boats”, Ha!
