I have an older lathe made by Craftsman in the 70’s model 113-23800 and am trying to figure how to mount it on a bench becasue the motor is a seperate unit. I have seen where it is hung upside down under the lathe on a bench or on a hinged board behind it letting the motor keep tension on it. Does anyone have any good ideas or a drawing ...

Has anyone here done any carving or working with Monkey Pod? I just picked up about 3 bf of it. Since I carve spoons and such and the pieces are all about a foot long and up to 6 in wide and 3/4 to 1 inch thick with some nice grain patterns. Does anyone have any ideas for this.
