Icons for Favorites changed - 0 replies Ok the icon for Lumberjocks changed to a Green Dollar sign and my Bonanzle changer to an ebay icon and google is some kind of red A amongst other things. Any ideas on this. |

Claro Walnut - 3 replies I have a 4inch square piece of Claro Walnut I would like to turn but I am fairly new to turning things other than pens and do not have a chuck so i will be using a faceplate. Wilton 99177 Mini Lathe - 2 replies I have been looking for a nice starter Mini Lathe and this came in my email from Rockler. It is the Wilton 99177 Mini Lathe for $99.00. I read some of the reviews on several sites and it seems to be a good lathe. Does anyine here have an opinion on it or suggestions. Lathe Bench - 4 replies I have an older lathe made by Craftsman in the 70’s model 113-23800 and am trying to figure how to mount it on a bench becasue the motor is a seperate unit. I have seen where it is hung upside down under the lathe on a bench or on a hinged board behind it letting the motor keep tension on it. Does anyone have any good ideas or a drawing ... |

Monkey Pod Wood - 1 reply Has anyone here done any carving or working with Monkey Pod? I just picked up about 3 bf of it. Since I carve spoons and such and the pieces are all about a foot long and up to 6 in wide and 3/4 to 1 inch thick with some nice grain patterns. Does anyone have any ideas for this.
